Declan's List

For all I am transcribing Declan's list of stuff he did on vacation in Ottawa/Toronto. (if Darby and Ella kept a list it would be slightly different)

Visited Saunders Farm (mazes)
Cosmic Adventure
Canada's Wonderland (my cousin Jen and her daughter Amanda met us there)
CN Tower
Blue Jays game vs Seattle
Visited my Aunt Patty + Uncle Erwin (while there they also visited with: my cousin Chris and his daughter Lauren, my cousin Jen and her daughter Amanda)
Metro Toronto Zoo
rode the GOTrain
3D glow in the dark mini-putt
Balladium-ball Blaster (Grandma took them so I actually don't know what this is)
Laser Quest <- this was particularly AWESOME
Turpin Family Picnic
Go Karts
Movies (Harry Potter IMAX 3D, Transformers 3D, Captain America 3D, Smurfs 3D) – yes, I took advantage of the fact you can actually go to 3D movies in Ottawa.
Calypso Water Park <- this was also AWESOME
Darby, Ella and Grandma's birthday party
Visited old house on Senateurs Way and Francis of Assisi School.
Visited Bryan's house. Bryan, Aunt Kathie and Uncle Pete visited us a number of times.
Got see Aunt Kristine, Uncle Jim and cousins: Reilly, Emily, Jimmy who were visiting from Chicago
Swam lots in Papa's pool
Visited Beechwood and Notre Dame cemeteries.
Visited Granny (and my uncle Cliff was there)
Visited the hospital where Declan was born.
My Uncle Greg and Aunt Sharon visited
Declan's godfather Jason Curran with Vanessa and family visited though Declan only decided to be social before they left. They live in Hong Kong so it was happy coincidence they were in Ottawa when we were.
Vomited in Papa's car but I bet he won't find out unless he reads this blog! (This happened on the car ride home from Toronto).
Walked the Byward Market (had fun at Candy Mountain!), drove down Sussex Drive.

We had intentions of visiting more friends and family later in the trip but I got badly burned. Seriously, I am still peeling to this day and I think I will have permanent scars. I blistered for a week! Though I took care of the kids at Calypso I either forgot to apply sunscreen to myself or I applied the bottle that wasn't waterproof!!!!!
